Welcome. This is the first post on a site that is, in part, written by a machine — a daily content engine that reads a few trusted sources, scores what is novel and important, and drafts a blog post, a newsletter, a podcast episode, or all three.
The key design constraint: the engine can draft but never publish. Every run produces a draft pull request. I read it, edit it, and merge it — merging is the publish action. That keeps a human firmly in the loop while still removing the blank-page problem.
How it decides
A small, deterministic strategist scores each candidate topic on novelty (is this new relative to what I’ve already covered?) and importance (is this a routine update or a genuine milestone?). Routine items become a blog post; a milestone can justify the full blog + newsletter + podcast treatment.
More on the internals in a future post. For now: hello, world.
