- Paved roads over golden cages. A good internal platform offers a well-lit default path but never traps teams on it. Escape hatches are a feature.
- Small, reversible bets. The cheapest way to learn is to ship something small you can undo. Reserve the big, irreversible decisions for when you actually have the evidence.
